Canby Real Estate

The Canby real estate market is very popular among buyers who want to enjoy a nice mix of rural and urban living. This area has a reputation for excellent schools, beautiful scenery, and a friendly population of about 13,000 residents. Canby real estate is priced a bit higher than in some of its neighboring communities, but this is due to the fact that Canby is a highly desirable place to live.

The Canby school system has attracted the attention of many home buyers. There are nine schools in the district that house just over 5,000 students. Academic achievement is one of the district's strong points, but there is also a close-knit feeling among parents, teachers, and students that helps to make going to school here a happy experience for everyone.

The growing community of Canby still has a rural feel to it, as the city is surrounded by picturesque Oregon farmland. This agricultural border adds to the tranquility of the area, but doesn't isolate the community. Not only are larger cities like Wilsonville, Oregon City, and Tualatin just a short drive away, but Canby itself has a pretty downtown core that features a mix of locally owned shops and restaurants alongside a few national chains.

Canby becomes a hub of activity during its annual Clackamas County Fair & Rodeo, which is the second-largest county fair in Oregon. Canby also plays host to the Canby Wine & Art Festival, free summertime concerts, equestrian events, and a weekly farmers' market that runs from May to October.
