That’s right! A 35 acre park, yet to be named, located on 162nd Ave South of Sunnyside Road and North of Hwy 212. The park will include athletic fields, play areas, walking trails, a skate park, a dog run and picnic areas.

The $8 million purchase is adjacent to about 40 acres recently acquired by North Clackamas School District (NC12) which is planned for development of a new middle and elementary school. NCPRD and NC12 are considering sharing facilities, including parking, recreational fields and roads.
Phase 1 of the park’s construction should be completed by fall. It includes four full-size, all-weather turf baseball/softball fields with lights; a multi-use soccer/lacrosse field; parking areas and utilities; landscaping; a concession and a restroom…

The Art of Negotiating

I think I might have an addiction to negotiating. I just don’t feel satisfied unless I’ve negotiated at least 1X a day. J I enjoy getting deals but I’m not the hunter type. I generally don’t shop the clearance racks and I’m not that into discount shops. Yes. I do shop at Walmart for some things - their price for babyfood is unmatchable. But Macy’s and Nordstrom are more to my liking as far as clothes and shoes are concerned. You can’t help but walk through and find a shirt or entire outfit on display and fall in love. As a Realtor I’m always getting the question – How is the Real Estate Market? And since the big ‘bubble” popped, I’m getting it more than ever. Is now a good time to buy? Should we wait? What should we do?

Right now I’m seeing homes that were selling for $600K+, a year or two ago, now selling in the $400K+ range. I saw a house recently advertised in the Beaverton area that was around 3400 sqft, granite countertops, cherry cabinets, nice neighborhood etc. for around $280K. In 2005 you…
